biopsy news and the Dali Lama

Greetings...

Ok...one of the biopsies came back abnormal...so another biopsy and we'll go from there...precursor to Melanoma...not melanoma yet...that's good news!!!

Pet scan was yesterday...waiting for great news in a few days....

And off to see the Dali Lama tomorrow morning bright and early with my friend Teri....Friday and Saturday ...overnight and quick...must go pack and go to bed and up by 3 am...WOW!!!

ready for what life brings me...

so... I go to my dermatology appt. on thurs and we both see a few sites that show concern...she takes biopsies that will be ready by tues or wed...today I find out that although I don't have Melanoma...I have one site that is a precursor to ...at least I found it early and it will be taken out and watched...ok...a little belly flutter...ok ...a lot of belly flutter...but now...finding my peace again and ready...of course for the PET scan tomorrow which is like a spa experience..they are so kind and wonderful..actually feeling very good about it all...embracing how my thoughts create my health...I am so happy right now that it's impossible for anything to come to me that is not in my best interest..sending love to all..see you soon on the mat or in my studio...

reviewing anatomy and appreciation for...

Today I went to an anatomy workshop with Justine...I have studied anatomy for over 30 years and today I went to hear from a friend discuss anatomy and yoga as if I had heard it for the first time. I went as a beginner with an open heart and mind and was so happy that I was able to receive and appreciate!

Thank you Justine for your passion...your gifts and your honesty! I will always be grateful! I look forward to our future sessions where we can share our love for anatomy and yoga!
I also feel wonderful...my body ...my heart and my mind are open ...I feel so happy deep inside and appreciative of every moment I can feel this life ...

Today I am more confident and willing to share my gifts as well...something that has challenged me from the time I began this career...and now...feeling ready to share and to love and to receive!!!

celebrations

This weekend was filled with celebrations...

My friend's 25th wedding anniversary...oops...then remembered that my husband and I forgot our 15th... August 16th...so we quietly celebrated last night...celebrating our new home and our new life together...

Waiting to celebrate Susan's birthday...Daniele's birthday and Diana's birthday...Whew!

Still celebrating cancer free and every moment that brings me great health and abundance!!!

I'll also be celebrating a full workday today with clients and to continue to work in the house unpacking and organizing!!!!

Blood work is excellent!!!

I just found out that my blood work came back excellent!!!!

Ca-125 was 11 at the lowest during treatment and it's still 11!!!!!

I'm so happy I could cry from pure joy!!!!

I am HEALED ....I am WELL!!!!

Thank you for visiting my Blog...this blog was for me to to be able to communicate to you about my progress with the treatment for Ovarian Cancer. Although, I had been cancer free for almost 2 years...the original cancer recurred in January 2009 and I just completed treatment for a second time. March 2010...I have just found out that I now have a third recurrence of cancer and MET to the liver. I am currently investigating alternative treatments for healing. I feel healed already!

I just returned from one month at Optimum Health Institute and will be continuing with a similar diet regimen ... with added support using supplements from holistic docs whom I respect and trust...a day at a time...with deep joy and gratitude and a peace I have never known before...I am healed! Whatever needs to happen next will show up and I'll embrace all that needs to come my way...for the greater good of all beings in this world...may all of our experiences show us a deeper level of love! 5/10/10

Well here we are on 5/22/10 and I am getting ready to leave for Mexico to Hope 4 Cancer in Playa Tijuana...I will be there for 2 weeks and return with home treatment for several more weeks and then an ongoing monitored program for 3 months or more from there. If all works out in my favor ....then I'll just proceed from that protocol...if I need another treatment plan...I will open my heart and my mind to what is best at that time. Please hold me in your thoughts and continue to send me love and healing as you have always done...thank you for everything...see you very soon!

I returned from Mexico with a very rigorous home treatment plan...I'm very hopeful and ready to embrace this beautiful life! My experiences in Mexico can be read on my blog entries ...it was and is amazing and I'm very committed to healing! Thank you to all who are assisting me financially as I continue this healing path...I'm so grateful and ready to dedicate myself to this path not only for my well being but for the health of all of us...as I learn and grow...I can share with all of you!

Starting chemo again...ca-125 went from 800 to 8500 in 3 months ...the metastasis that had shown in my liver was not seen on the recent pet scan...at this time...the cancer that has spread is still in the abdominal cavity...this treatment is recommended by the alternative medicine doctors in Mexico and my Dr here...I feel like it's a good choice for now...as long as I'm growing and able to share...it's all good...

Ca-125 has dropped from 8500 to 3200 from only one cycle of chemo...second cycle starts tomorrow...

started second cycle of chemo today...

10/10/10

Third cycle of chemo started on Friday 10/8/10...I also received blood work this week
ca-125 is down to 2600

11/11/10
Fourth cycle of chemo begins...CA-125 will not be done until next cycle due to the bowel obstruction which will give a false higher number

12/09/10

Ca-125 is elevated again 7000....should be under 10.....day by day....feeling the love...on my way to chemo cycle 5 #2...know more soon..

12/23/10
Ca-125 has dropped back down to 3900 and the MRI shows diminished cancer in certain areas...it has been decided to stay on the same chemo for now...chemo cycle 6 starts this Friday.

Ca-125 is 9000...more tests will be run to decide on future treatments...for now, current chemo schedule for cycle 8 will begin this Friday.

2/24/11
MRI continues to show diminishing cancer...chest x-ray is clear. It is a mystery why my ca-125 is rising.

4/1/11
ca-125 is 16,000 more tests will reveal the next step...currently on the second day of the 9th cycle of chemo

Currently, I will not be teaching as I learn to adapt to being with the hospice care...as my body begins to heal a bit more...I will be able to add some work hours back in to my schedule.
