urgent news to share

Dear Friends,

Unfortunately, I have to share some difficult news with you.

I recently found out that the cancer has come back. I'm still in the gathering information stage and will have more tests run to determine a course of treatment.

What I have know so far...

• Ca-125 elevated significantly ( marker for Ovarian Cancer)

• MRI shows positive cancer and tumor in Liver

• Liver Biopsy will be done next Wednesday April 7 to determine if the tumor in the liver is from the original ovarian cancer cells or a secondary cancer has formed

• Tissue samples and fluid samples will also be done to be sent to labs to find a compatible chemo should I decide to use chemo again.

• Seeking advice and opinions from many points of view to help me navigate this confusion

I have been working my normal hours with the exception of canceling due to medical appointments that have to be scheduled.
My emotions have been expressed on all levels....FEAR...ANXIETY...LOVE...JOY...GRATITUDE....and then it starts all over again...fear...anxiety...love....joy...gratitude...what the F_____????!!!!! and then laughter ....tears...everything you can imagine one would feel in this situation...

There will be a follow up email with a web site giving options for friends to visit for additional information. Everyone always asks me how they can help and this site will be extremely helpful to give you several options. Look for that email around Sunday.

In the meantime...I'm working and keeping my teaching schedule as close to normal as possible. Unless an emergency arises...
I will teach YOGA on Thursday night at Soul of Yoga at 5:30 pm and Monday night at Yoga Vista at 6:00 pm

The BLEND class at Indigo Village will be taught Thursday ( tomorrow) at 9:15 am and next Tuesday April 6 same time ( I'll keep you posted on future classes)
