Shambhala Training is a secular meditation training that develops
fearlessness, confidence and openness toward ourselves and others. By
looking directly at our own experience, we discover a continuity of
awareness underlying the changing conditions that make up our lives.
Connecting with this wholesome, wakeful presence enables us to experience
life fully and directly. In Shambhala this is referred to as "basic
goodness" and is seen as our birthright.

This program, appropriate for beginners as well as experienced meditators,
includes meditation instruction, presentations of the Shambhala teachings,
individual interviews and group dialogue.

Pamela Bothwell will be directing the weekend.
Ms Bothwell has directed numerous programs in San Diego, and we are delighted to be hosting her again.   She is a wonderful teacher who exemplifies the Shambhala path through her accessible presentation and genuine, enriching presence.  Mrs. Bothwell is a long-time student of Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche.   Mrs. Bothwell, a mother of three young adults, is a retired attorney.  She currently teaches Shambhala and Buddhist teachings in a wide variety of settings and serves as a Secretary to the Sakyong.

Program Cost:  $125 Members, $150 Non Members, $100 Seniors & Students and $50 to Repeat the course.

Our generosity policy applies which means that we will work with individuals to make the teaching affordable.  Please indicate your need at the time of registration.
